Village of Waterford Fire Commission April 12 th, 2022 Minutes Present: Janice Piper, Ken Thiede, Bonnie Schauer, James Zuehlke Excused: Jennifer Denton Also present: Chief Mueller, Colleen Schauer Zuehlke called the meeting to order at 5:30 pm. Motion by Schauer to approve the 03-29-2022 Fire Commission Minutes. Second by Thiede. All aye. Motion carried. New Business: Motion to adjourn into closed session by Thiede for the purposes of considering Fire & EMS staff hiring and other business at 5:31 pm, second by Schauer. All aye. Motion carried. Roll call vote: Thiede - aye; Piper – aye, Schauer - aye. Zuehlke - aye. Motion carried. Schauer motioned to reconvene into open session at 5:47 pm; second by Piper. All aye. Motion carried. Chief Mueller indicated to add Moreno and York to the eligibility list. Motion by Thiede to add Moreno and York to the eligibility list. Second by Schauer. All aye. Motion carried. Chief Mueller indicated it is his intent to hire Moreno and York within the department. Schauer motioned to accept Chief Mueller’s intent to hire Moreno and York to a full-time position.
