VILLAGE OF WATERFORD Public Works & Utilities Committee Meeting Minutes Village Hall, 123 N River St May 20, 2024 Meeting was called to order by Fred Koeller at 4:00 pm. Present: Fred Koeller, Carl Oberhart, Cindy Mooney, Pat Goldammer, Michel Olson Others present: Don, Houston, Mike Sponholtz, Rick Huening, Alysa Robbins, Zeke Jackson Minutes: Motion by Oberhart to approve the 04-15-2024 minutes. Second by Mooney. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Oberhart to move agenda item #7 to #1. Second by Mooney. All aye. Motion carried. Motion to approve design and engineering of Well #6 to include estimated engineer cost of about $70k by Koeller. Second by Goldammer. All aye. Motion carried. Department reports were presented by Huening and Sponholtz. Motion by Oberhart to recommend expanding Greg Winski hours up to 30 hours per week. Second by Mooney. All aye. Motion carried. New Business: Motion by Oberhart to recommend approval of the CMAR Report to the Village Board. Second by Mooney. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Koeller to approve Fahrner’s chip & fog seal proposal not to exceed $19,800. Second by Olson. All Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Oberhart to approve Struck & Erwin proposal as presented. Second by Mooney. All aye. Motion carried. Motion by Goldammer to change chassis manufacturer to Western Star. Second by Mooney. All aye. Motion carried. Discussion on Boarding Pier 2 and decision was tabled to July. Motion by Oberhart to approve design of Ten Club monument as presented. Second by Olson. All aye. Motion carried.
