Call To Order And Roll Call Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the special meeting of the Watertown City Council was called to order at 7:30 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2020 in the Council Chambers of City Hall by Vice-Mayor Michael Walters. Council Members present: Walters, Adam Pawelk, and Deborah Everson. City Staff present: City Administrator Shane Fineran and Clerk/Treasurer Lynn Tschudi. 2. Adopt Agenda EVERSON MOVED, PAWELK SECONDED A MOTION TO ADOPT THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED. MOTION CARRIED 3-0. 3. New/Old Business 3.A. Canvass General Election Results Clerk/Treasurer Tschudi reviewed the results of the 2020 General Election. There was record turn out for both in person and early voting. Total voters for Watertown was 2,717 with a 93.8% voter rate. The local race showed Steve Washburn received the most votes for Mayor and Adam Pawelk and Dan Schuette received the most votes for the two open City Council positions. EVERSON MOVED, PAWELK SECONDED A MOTION TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 2020-134, CERTIFYING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION OF NOVEMBER 3, 2020 FOR MAYOR AND TWO FOUR-YEAR CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS.
