City of Watseka 201 Brianna Dr PO Box 338 Watseka IL 60970 SPECIAL CALLED COUNCIL MEETING MAY 19TH, 2026 6:30 PM PRESENT: Aldermen Barragree, Muench, Dewitt, Miller, Pence, Brault, Alderwoman Rohlfs and Mayor Marcier ABSENT: Alderman Jeff Petersen Mayor Marcier opened the meeting at 6:30 pm. There was no public comment. Mayor Marcier stated the reason for the meeting was to approve the aggregate bid for the HGMP grant for 604 N Chicago and 519 E Ash from Lee Excavating for $28,800.00. Alderwoman Rohlfs makes the motion to accept the bid for $28,800 from Lee Excavating and Alderman Barragree seconded. Roll call carried 7-0. Alderman Miller makes a motion to adjourn at 6:33 pm and Alderwoman Rohlfs seconded. Roll call carried 7-0. _____________________________ Benny Marcier, Mayor
