ROLL CALL Present: Natasha Lutes, Jess Pagel, Shannon Reed, Erin Chicoine, Elizabeth Teeter, Heather Calkins Absent: Silvia Guerin, Erin Moran, OPEN Also Present: Todd Schmidt, Jeff Skoug, Kylie West, Brittany Gitzlaff MINUTES 1 Approve Minutes from October 10, 2024 Create Waunakee Committee Meeting Motion by Erin Chicoine, second by Jess Pagel, to approve the October 10, 2024, Create Waunakee Committee Minutes. For: 6, Absent: 2, Against: 0. Motion Passed. BUSINESS ITEMS 1 Discussion on Collaboration Proposal with Waunakee High School S.E.E. Club Discussion was had regarding the collaboration proposal from the Waunakee High School S.E.E. Club. After discussion, a motion was made. Motion by Natasha Lutes, Second by Jess Pagel, to accept collaboration proposal, pending additional information from the S.E.E. Club. For: 6, Absent: 2, Against: 0. Motion Passed. 2 Discuss Upcoming Events (November, December, January) Discussion only, no action taken. 2025 event dates/plans will be discussed at the December meeting. 3 Discuss and Take Action on Groundlings Theater becoming Create Waunakee Initiative Discussion was had regarding the inclusion of Groundlings Theater as a Create Waunakee Initiative. After discussion, a motion was made. Motion by Shannon Reed, second by Elizabeth Teether, to accept the addition of Groundlings Theater as a Create Waunakee Initiative. For: 6, Absent: 2, Against: 0. Motion Passed. 4 Update from Create Waunakee, Inc. Updates given by Natasha Lutes. Village Board approved assistance with funding to hire a staff member for Create Waunakee, Inc. ADJOURN Motion by Shannon Reed, second by Natasha Lutes, to adjourn at 5:08 PM.
