VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MARCH 07, 2016 Members present: Steve Kraus, Chris Zellner, John Laubmeier and Dave Ferris Members absent: Gary Walden Also present: None Chairman Kraus called the meeting to order at 5:31 P.M. CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. Motion by Chris Zellner, second by, to approve the Consent Agenda including all of the items listed below. Motion Passed. For: 3, Against: 0, Absent: 1 1. Approve September 21, 2015 Finance Committee Minutes. Motion to approve the September 21, 2015 Finance Committee minutes. 2. Approve the Resolution Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of Village of Waunakee Deposits Motion to approve the Resolution Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of Village of Waunakee Deposits. NEW BUSINESS #1 – DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON ACCUMULATED LEAVE RESERVE POLICY. Dave Ferris introduced the item. After some discussion, motion by Chris Zellner, second by John Laubmeier to approve the Accumulated Leave Reserve Policy adjusting the annual levy from $50,000 to $53,075. Motion Passed. For: 3, Against: 0, Absent 1. NEW BUSINESS #2 – DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CARRYFORWARD OF UNEXPENDED 2015 APPROPRIATIONS. Dave Ferris introduced the item. After some discussion, motion by John Laubmeier, second by Chris Zellner to approve the resolution approving the carryforward of unexpended 2015 appropriations. Motion Passed. For: 3, Against: 0, Absent 1. NEW BUSINESS #3 – DISCUSS AND TAKE ACTION ON RESOLUTION APPROVING FUND TRANSFERS AND BUDGET AMENDMENTS. Dave Ferris introduced the item. After some discussion, motion by Chris Zellner, second by John Laubmeier to approve the resolution approving fund transfers and budget amendments. Motion Passed. For: 3, Against: 0, Absent 1.
