VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING 500 West Main Street October 15, 2018 5:00 PM Meeting Minutes CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Sue Springman called the meeting to order at 5:02 P.M. ROLL CALL Members present: Sue Springman, Chris Zellner, and Renee Meinholz. Members absent: Sam Ballweg. Also present: Todd Schmidt, Adam Bentley, Nila Frye, Elaine Laufenberg, Mary Ellen Kearney. CONSENT AGENDA Items under the consent agenda may be acted upon by one motion. If, in the judgment of any Board Member, a consent agenda item needs discussion, the item may be moved to later on the agenda for discussion and/or action. 1 Consider approval of minutes - September 4, 2018 Motion by Chris Zellner to approve the consent agenda (approval of minutes – September 4, 2018), seconded by Sue Springman. Motion Pass. For: 2 – Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Against: 0, Absent: 1 – Sam Ballweg. PUBLIC COMMENT None NEW BUSINESS (This item was taken out of order.) 1 Review of Village Budget Policies Motion by Chris Zellner to approve the budget policies as presented in the packet, seconded by Sue Springman. Motion Pass. For: 2 – Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Against: 0, Absent: 1 – Sam Ballweg. PRESENTATIONS 1 Overview of Proposed 2019 Operating and Capital Improvement Budget Finance Director introduced the 2019 operating and capital improvement budget. Discussion ensued. No action necessary. ADJOURN Motion by Chris Zellner to adjourn, seconded by Sue Springman. Motion Pass. For: 2 – Chris Zellner, Sue Springman, Against: 0, Absent: 1 – Sam Ballweg.
