VILLAGE OF WAUNAKEE Parks and Recreation Committee October 2, 2024 The meeting was called to order by Sam Kaufmann at 5:30 p.m. PRESENT: Sam Kaufmann, Tricia Braun, Robert McPherson, Tim Luttrell, John Pomeranke, and Bob Khouri. ALSO PRESENT: Dan Day, D’Onofrio Kottke; Matt Saltzberry. D’Onofrio Kottke, Matt brink, Veridian Homes. STAFF PRESENT: Sue McDade – Community Services Director, Bill Frederick – Director of Public Works, Ryan Endres – Public Works/Parks Supervisor, Jeff Karls – Public Works/Parks Crew Leader. MINUTES A motion by Tim Luttrell/John Pomeranke to approve the minutes of the August 7, 2024, Park and Recreation Committee meeting, was approved. Robert McPherson abstained. BUSINESS ITEMS 1. Onsite Walking Tour and Review of Plans for Heritage Hills Parks Committee members and staff visited the sites of the community park (center of the subdivision) and neighborhood park (north-west corner). The Veridian planning team shared information about the original park proposals, grading adjustments that have occurred during construction, and proposed updates to the park plans. No action was taken. The item will return to a future meeting for consideration. ADJOURNMENT A motion by Robert McPherson/Bob Khouri to adjourn was approved.
