WaunaBoom November Meeting Minutes 11/14/2019 6:30 p.m. Village Center – 333 S. Madison St. Members: Jason Nachreiner, Chris Zellner, Amie Zellner, Jen Schmalz, Julie Zellner, Michelle Johnson, Stacey Ryan, Jade Hofeldt, Alex Schmalz, Travis Steuber, Cindy Kobza, Ellen Schaaf 1. Public Comments - None 2. Misc. updates from committee members 1. Budget/Fundraising-Chris A few payment conflicts from last year. One sponsor and two food carts did not pay/checks bounced. 2. Booking of vendors/bands – Goal to have 25% more vendors 2020. Will attempt to keep the same two bands as 2019. 3. Events for 2019/2020 – Ellen will check to see if the owner of the “Waterballs” activity can attend a future meeting. For the 2020 event, Amie will look into the Zoozort activity and Chris will check on an outdoor movie screen and professional athletes to make an appearance for pictures & autographs. Committee should think about who to recognize at the 2020 event. Alex will contact Fireworks company to see if they can present to the committee a few additional options for 2020. 3. Discussion items 1. Recap Notes misc. – Amie Do we stick with the same bus company as our 2019 event? Other option is Badger Bus. Make the volunteer link live now so people can begin signing up earlier. 2. Decide on Kid event time all consistent/More kid events (facepainters, etc)-per recap notes - Potentially move kids events to 5 hours long instead of 4. (2pm – 7pm) Do we end bounce houses earlier this year? Had trouble finding enough volunteers in the past. 3. Rain out plans (per recap notes) If inclement weather causes a cancellation, the fireworks will be moved to the July 5th. Rest of event would be cancelled. Ellen will look into event insurance.  4. Delegate jobs (some away from Chris) – Stacey will look over/make changes to letters for all donors and sponsors. Divert emailed questions to Travis. 4. Next Meeting Dates?
