Waunakee Area Fire District 401 West Second Street Waunakee, WI 53597-0472 June 2021 Fire District Meeting Minutes June 28, 2021 The Regular Monthly Meeting oftbe Waunakee Area Fire District was ca11ed toorder by Chainnan Jim Pulvermacher. Roll call showed in attendance: Jim Pulvermacher, Terry Enge, Gary Endres, Nila Frye, Chief Dave Kopp, and Captain/Inspector Brian Adler. Meeting Minutes: A motion was made by Gary Endres and a second was made by Nila Frye to approve the corrected May 2021 Meeting Minutes. Motion Carried. Bills: A motion was made by Gary Endres and a second was made by Nila Frye to approve the May 2021 bills as presented. Motion carried. Old Business: A. Baker Tilly - Tabled from the May meeting. Renee Meinholz, Finance Director for the Village of Waunakee, explained some additional services that Baker Tilly provides for the Fire District and benefits of these services to the district. B. Posting of District Agenda - Captain Adler informed the Board that the district's meeting agenda is now being posted for the public to view at the fire station and the village hall. The agenda is also sent to the clerks of each municipality for them to post electronically if they so choose. C. Engine 2 Update - Chief Kopp informed the board that he spoke with Jason Krueger from Reliant Fire Apparatus and our new engine is scheduled to be on the line in the middle of July and expected to be completed at the end of Septembe.rDelays can be expected due to a shortage of parts, but that we should still expect to see the new engine completed this fall. Tabled. New Business: No new business for June. Other Business: Chairperson Pulvermacher asked if we could include language on the next agenda ensuring that we are following open meeting Jaws. Fire Inspector's Report: Capt/Inspector Adler shared the May 2021 run report. Next Meeting: July 26, 2021 @ 6:30pm, at the Waunakee Fire Station.
