Waunakee Area Fire District 401 West Second Street Waunakee, WI 53597-0472 July 28, 2025, Fire District Meeting Minutes July 28, 2025 The Regular Monthly Meeting of the Waunakee Area Fire District was called to order by Chairperson Gary Endres. Roll call; showed in attendance: Gary Endres, Nila Frye, Mark Crowell, Dave Laufenberg, Chief Josh McWilliams, and Deputy Chief Ryan Schwab. Absent – Kristin Runge and Batt. Chief Brian Adler Compliance with Open Meeting Laws: Chairperson Endres asked if we were compliant with Open Meeting Laws, and it was determined that we were. Public Comment: Mike Meier questioned the Village of Waunakee’s position on Chief Josh McWilliams. Meeting Minutes: A motion was made by Gary Endres and a second was made by Mark Crowell to approve the July 2025 Meeting Minutes. Motion carried. Bills: A motion was made by Nila Frye and a second was made by Dave Laufenberg to approve the July 2025 bills. Motion carried. Old Business: None New Business: None Other Business: None Fire Inspector’s Report: Chief McWilliams shared the June 2025 fire call report. Next Meeting: Monday, August 25, 2025 Adjournment: A motion to adjourn was made by Nila Frye and a second was made by Mark Crowell. Motion carried.
