WAUNAKEE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Waunakee Village Hall 500 West Main Street Monday – November 12, 2012, 5:30 p.m. MINUTES Call to Order: President Laubmeier called the meeting order at 5:30 pm. Members Present: John Laubmeier, Sue Springman, Geoff Vine, Al Dassow, David Dean, Tim Schell, and David Kennedy (5:40). Members Absent: Kevin Phelps, Phil Willems Also Present: Todd Schmidt, Brian Schmeiser, Roberta Baumann, Ken Newhouse, Roger E. Endres, Sydney Hensen, Greg Hensen, Karla Knorr, Lynette Byrnes, and Anne Katz. Minutes: None Presentations: 1. Kerry Ingredients Dan Hoeft gave a presentation on all that’s happening at Kerry Ingredients. He gave background on the company and described their operation. He indicated ongoing work to improve equipment geared at alleviating odors caused by their business. Discussion-Action: New Business: 1. Update and Action on Creative Economy Initiative: Administration Proposal from Arts Wisconsin Todd Schmidt and Ann Katz presented a proposal for Arts Wisconsin to carry out administrative functions related to the 2013 Creative Economy Initiative efforts. Motion Schell, second by Dassow, to recommend that the Village board approve the agreement between Arts Wisconsin and the Village. Carried 7-0. 2. Update on Lone Eagle Initiative Todd Schmidt gave a brief update. 3. Update on Sustain Main Campaign & Overall Main Street Project Activities Todd Schmidt gave an update. 500 West Main Street, P.O.
