TOWN OF DAYTON JOINT MEETING WITH THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON Tuesday May 7, 2024 – 4:30pm DAYTON TOWN HALL – N2285 Highway 22, Waupaca, WI 1. Call to order 2. Open Meeting Statement: This meeting and all meetings of this board are open to the public. Proper notice has been posted and given to the press in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes so that the citizens may be aware of the date, time and agenda of this meeting. 3. Pledge of Allegiance 4. Roll Call 5. Approve or Amend Agenda (motion) 6. Approve minutes from the 04/18/2024 joint meeting (motion) 7. New Business A. Discussion and possible action regarding the Town of Dayton Board and the Town of Farmington Board to approve the wording of a proposed ordinance, on each Town’s respective lakes (a.), regarding prohibiting artificial wake enhancement devices. – Roll Call Vote a. Town of Dayton lakes: Long Lake, Dayton’s portion of Columbia Lake, and Stratton Lake. Town of Farmington lakes: Rainbow Lake, Round Lake, and Farmington’s portion of Columbia Lake. B. Discussion and possible action to set a date for a joint Public Hearing regarding an ordinance to prohibit artificial wake enhancement, in the event that both Town Boards have approved the wording of the proposed ordinance in question. – Roll Call Vote C.
