Update from Robin Luther regarding all the volunteer programs held at 24-0479 West · Chair Brunow will man table at June event at Tosa West. Will need donation forms, photographs of past events, and volunteer sign-up sheet. Memorial Day update 24-0480 · Greater Milwaukee Fire and Police Pipes and Drums Band: A request has been made to the band to perform at our Memorial Day event. We are awaiting confirmation from them regarding their availability · Guest Speaker: A potential guest speaker has been approached and the Commission will be informed once they confirm their availability · Program and Poster Updates: Will collaborate with Michele Ripp to update the programs and other promotional materials for the day. With no major changes anticipated, we will ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date · Participation of Wauwatosa Mayor: Next week an invitation will be extended to the Wauwatosa Mayor to participate in our Memorial Day ceremony · Social Media Awareness: We are actively working on creating awareness for the event through various social media platforms. This will help increase attendance and community engagement · Alderperson Amanda Furest’s participation: Alderperson Fuerst has agreed to play a role in the ceremony again this year RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 5. Fourth of July parade update 24-0482 · Dan Lofy suggested parade set up take place on Menomonee River Parkway between 92nd Street and North Avenue, leaving Hoyt Park parking lot open for participant drop offs.
