Fireworks update from City Officials 24-0753 · John Ruggini, Finance Director, outlined budgeting procedures for parade and fireworks and how the change of date for fireworks affected allocation of funds RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 5. Fundraising update 24-0754 · Estimated donations to date are $20,000 which includes Froedtert ($5000), Village BID ($5000), and Penzey's ($2500). Tosa Tonight has given a gift in kind ($5000) to assist in the budgeting shortfall RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 6. Memorial Day update 24-0755 · Program is set. Will cancel at 7:00 a.m. if inclement weather RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 7. 2024 Grand Marshal discussion 24-0756 · Dan Lofy made a motion to ask Assistant Fire Chief Barb Kadrich of the Fire Department to be the Grand Marshal, Brit Swisher seconded. Motion passed. Dan will reach out to Barb to extend the invitation. RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 8. Fourth of July parade update 24-0757 · Channel 6 has asked to do a live coverage of the parade. There are currently 52 units confirmed. Dan has reached out to units he has not heard from RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 9. Afternoon program update 24-0758 · Pat Premetz has secured talent (balloon artist, caricature artist and face painter). Program will run from 12:00pm-3:00pm. Jamie Swisher will contact Tosa Cares to arrange participation in donor opportunity. Pat will contact City Administrator to arrange what is needed for the program RESULT: INFORMATIONAL ONLY 10. Tosa Community Fair on June 15, 2024, update 24-0759 · Robert Brunow will man table and asked for volunteers to help.
