Significant incidents · Commercial building fire - 560 N 108th Street - 5/17/2024 · Residential fire - 1928 Wauwatosa Avenue - 5/26/24 C. Shared services · Continue RNC planning 2. Administrative Updates 24-0963 A. Personnel actions · 12 recruits graduated from JFTA · 2 paramedic students returning August · Currently +1 staffing · Notified of 2 retirements: HEO Shepherd 7/6/2024 and Capt. Boesl 7/13 · Significant FMLA in 2024 (over 2,300 hours) o 10 for childbirth B. Assistant Fire Chief promotional process · One internal applicant, interviewed on 5/8/2024; made offer · Battalion Chief Blair turned down the position · Considering next steps C. Union contract status · Mediation on 8/7/2024 CLOSED SESSION Motion by Stojkovic, seconded by Plantinga, to convene into closed session at 4:45 PM pursuant to Wis . Stat. 19.85 (1)(c), considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, and may reconvene into open session .
