WEAVERVILLE TOWN COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL-CALLED MEETING FOR DECEMBER 18, 2024, AT 3:30 PM PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Weaverville Town Council will hold a special-called meeting on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 3:30 pm in Council Chambers/Community Room at Town Hall, 30 South Main Street). The purpose of the special-called meeting is for Town Council to enter into closed session as allowed by N.C. Gen. Stat. 143-318.11(a)(6) in order to review town manager candidates and select which candidates will advance to an assessment center to be conducted by Developmental Associates, LLC, on January 16 and 17, 2025. This closed session is necessary so that the legally required confidentiality of the applicants and process can be maintained.
