AYES: AHEARN, BAKKER, BRADLEY, DRISSELL, FERRIGNO, MANN, RISS NOES: NONE ABSENT: CAHOON, EVANS The March 7, 2017 minutes were approved as submitted. LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT IN THE ARTS The Commission discussed potential nominees for the 2017 Lifetime Achievement in the Arts Award. Members will bring information on potential nominees discussed to the next meeting. BARBRE PARK UPDATE The proposed artist is scheduled to meet with the group. Efforts will soon begin to raise the money for the sculpture. MISCELLANEOUS UPDATES Old Webster is working on an art project for October where merchants are paired with artists. Mr. Drissell will reach out to see how we can help. Mayor Welch stated that the apple chairs are ready to be painted. Bids for the Sculpture Garden lighting are due soon. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting was adjourned at 8:35 a.m.
