RESOLUTION 2022-13
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CHANGE ORDER WITH
WRIGHT CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR FIRE HOUSE #2 AND
AMENDING THE FIRE HOUSE #2 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Wright Construction Services, Inc., 11 Lami Industrial Drive, St. Peters,
MO 63304, is the City's General Contractor for construction of Fire House #2 and was
awarded an original contract in the amount of $4,176,000 by Resolution 2021-01 which
was subsequently increased for change orders in the amount of $68, 882. 22 by
Resolution 202 1-70; and
WHEREAS, a large change order is necessary to continue construction of the new
fire station;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEBSTER GROVES, hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into change orders
with Wright Construction for an amount of $127,422 .20; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for this item will be paid from the New
Fire Station 2 Fund; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds in the amount of $142, 890.95 will be
transferred from the General Fund to the New Fire Station 2 Fund.
