Staff REGULAR MEETING : 1. Approval of January 9, 2024, Minutes – Motion to approve with corrections by Carol Duenke; second by Sue Indelicato 6-0. 2. Pg 1 PUBLIC HEARINGS : None NEW BUSINESS 11 Old Westbury Lane – Single Family Dwelling  The existing single-family dwelling was built in 1937.  The city has found no records pertaining to a historic property inventory sheet for the subject property.  The property has not been previously identified as an at-risk property that should be looked at for a possible designation.  The structure is a two-story structure, identified at approximately 2,509 square feet in gross floor area.  The applicant has submitted photographs identifying existing conditions of the structure’s exterior and interior.  The applicant purchased the property on December 29, 2023. The applicant plans to build a single-family home on the lot. Staff recommend approval of the request to demolish the existing single family dwelling structure at the subject property without holding the request for additional review. HPC members discussed the condition of the property, and all agreed from the photos shared, the interior condition of the home was not good. Motion to approve by Carol Duenke; second by John Pierce 6-0 OLD BUSINESS : Mrs. Perry shared a brief update on the Comprehensive Plan being awarded to a group out of Chicago. She explained there will be workshops, pop up events, and zoom meetings, some available to public others more structured groups. She also shared the progress of the Bethany Lutheran Church being purchased by another church and on the next commission meeting. She also suggested the members think of doing smaller projects from the past to be discussed in upcoming meeting. Council member Shepherd provided an update on new council member to be sworn in, the charter amendments that passed and Prop W also passed.
