STREETSCAPE UPDATE The design is completed; getting construction and sidewalk easements. BUDGET DISCUSSION Commission members reviewed updated budget documents along with a breakdown of items covered in the Advertising and Transfer Out categories and items handled by the Parks Department. Some of the items discussed included the additional planting, decoration, and banner-related needs created with the addition of the 11 new decorative lampposts in the streetscape project, new banners and adding additional sets of banners going from two seasons to four, holiday and social media promotional needs, and the Gazebo Series sponsor shortfalls. MOTION: Angel Venegoni made a motion to approve the following list of budget categories and their amounts with the stipulation that a Parks Department minimum wage increase amount and additional baskets for 11 new lampposts will be added to the #971 Operating Transfer Out Category and a confirmed amount for banners and baskets may adjust the figure in #851 Area Maintenance. The motion was seconded by Holland Saltsman and unanimously approved: 701 Miscellaneous $ 100.00 730 Optional Equipment $ 300.00 803 Professional Services $ 3,500.00 810 Disposal Services $ 1,440.00 824 Electricity $ 175.00 827 Water $ 225.00 830 Advertising $ 19,000.00 850 Lighting (Parking Lot) $ 1,600.00 851 Area Maintenance $ 6,250.00 971 Operating Transfer Out $ 31,959.00 CITY UPDATE • Layla in Old Webster opened February 11th. • Balkan Treat Box in Old Webster will open February 13th. • Ziggy’s Frozen Treats in Old Webster will open soon.
