Streetscape Update – Streetscape Project came back under bid. Construction will begin in the spring. Rooftop Lighting Project Update – Have approvals for five buildings; The Novel Neighbor, Artistic Tailoring, the former Colonial Pharmacy, Webster Groves Animal Hospital, and Guerilla Street Food and all are on the schedule for rooftop lighting installation. Holiday Decorations – The winter banners and ornaments are up on the lampposts and new ornaments have been added to poles on S. Old Orchard. The Murdoch Bridge is decorated. The Parks Department has created new decorations add to this year; one in particular will be in conjunction with Santa’s mailbox in Gazebo Park. City Update • Union Studio is open. • Dharma and Dwell is opening very soon. • Union Bagels is moving forward. • City Staff is working with a new business for the Subaru location at Big Bend and Oakwood. • Information about the proposed redevelopment in the N. Old Webster is available on the City’s website. • Text amendments for single-family residential structures to two-family to add to affordable housing options, parking codes, and political signs are moving forward.
