Visitor Comments – Larry Chapman with SG Collaborative shared their updated plans for the potential redevelopment project in N. Old Webster. Mr. Chapman is looking to get input about the project from local businesses as well as solicit their support for the project. Rooftop Lighting – Weather permitting Olive+Oak is next on the list to have rooftop lighting installed. Mara Perry is still working with Regions Bank on their approvals. Once building renovations are completed for the building at 34 N. Gore, the property owner will address the rooftop lights. District Marketing Idea – Bill Newhouse shared a marketing idea he picked up as a tourist when visiting a business area in St. Simons Island, Georgia. The example was from one of the small businesses sharing their recommendations on neighboring businesses. Bill thought something similar could be done on a district-wide basis for Old Webster. Commission Members liked the idea and thought it might be something the Old Webster Trade Association could pursue. 1 of 2 Budget Review – Commission Members reviewed District revenue and expense items in order to start planning for next year’s budget. Costs figures for further discussion next month will be gathered for such things as the ongoing maintenance and repair of the District rooftop lights and trash can or bench replacement. City Update  Permits are in for DD Mau going into the former Firenza Pizza location.  A Wingstop will be opening in Yorkshire Plaza.  Union Bagel will be opening in the former Porter Paints location in Crossroads.  Le Macaron in Old Webster is doing inspections; they are focusing on the first floor.  Total Access Urgent Care at the corner of Big Bend and Laclede Station Road is moving forward.  The next step for Lona’s Lil Eats in Old Orchard at Big Bend and Oakwood has been pushed to March.  The Plan Commission continues working on amendments to the residential code.  All City departments are taking part in an equity audit.
