Approval of Minutes – A motion to approve the October minutes was made by Karen Drexler,
seconded by Dan Warner, and unanimously approved.
Chair’s Report to City Council – Ron Clipp gave a report on the infrastructure and economic
marketing support to the businesses of the Old Webster District to the City Council on October 17th.

Rooftop Lighting Update – The winning quote is from Streib Electric. Commission Members all agreed
to proceed with the work.
Decorative Parking Signs Update – Tim Delanty and Laura Burns have met; Eric Peterson will send
Time the number of signs that need to be replaced.
Budget Update – No budget concerns. YTD FY24 Budget Performance in Appendix A.
BDC Update – The next Business Coffee is scheduled for February.
City Update
• The Parks & Recreation “Destination Webster Groves” no-tax bond issue will be on the April 2024
ballot. The current debt tax rate can support $22M worth of bonding. The Council is deciding what
Parks & Recreation items to include, and is looking for citizen input. Information on potential
additional projects and to give input is on the City’s website at
https://www.webstergrovesmo.gov/717/Destination-WG. The software tool is available until November 3rd.
• Charter Review Advisory Board’s recommendations to City Council are available on the City’s
website at https://www.webstergrovesmo.gov/70/Charter-Review-Advisory-Board City Council is going through
them to determine which if any will be on the April 2024 ballot.
• Commission Chairs and Vice Chairs met with Mayor Laura Arnold and City Attorney Neil Bruntrager
to review the policy managing City resource workflow and meet Missouri Sunshine Law obligations.
