APPROVAL OF MINUTES ARB-212 Approval of May 19, 2021 Architectural Review Board Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Thomas Wenham, seconded by Dayna Bertola, to approve the May 19, 2021 Architectural Review Board Minutes. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Roger Grave de Peralta and Luis Rodriguez were absent. V. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS/REORDERING OF AGENDA VI. SWEARING IN OF SPEAKERS VII. NEW BUSINESS ARB-214 Petition 2021-0007 ARB Lotis Wellington Master Sign Plan (Ground Signs) A motion was made by Thomas Wenham to approve Petition 2021-0007 ARB Lotis Wellington Master Sign Plan (Ground Signs), the motion was seconded by Miguel Alonso and was amended to approve interior signs only. A motion was made by Dayna Bertola, seconded by Ryan Mishkin to approve the amended motion. The amended motion passed unanimously (5-0). Roger Grave de Peralta and Luis Rodriguez were absent. A motion was made by Dayna Bertola, seconded by Thomas Wenham, to eliminate signs 1 - 6 that front SR7. the motion was amended by Miguel Alonso to table the discussion on the signs along SR7 to the next meeting so the applicant can redesign, relocate, and/or provide different rendering/views of the signs from the right-of-way. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Roger Grave de Peralta and Luis Rodriguez were absent. ARB-211 Petition 2021-0008 ARB Green Village Dental Care at MUPD B (FKA Heartland Dental) Signage with Technical Deviations Village of Wellington Page 1 Architectural Review Board Action Summary August 18, 2021 A motion was made by Thomas Wenham, seconded by Ryan Mishkin, to approve Petition 2021-0008 ARB Green Village Dental Care at MUPD B (FKA Heartland Dental) as recommended by Staff. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Roger Grave de Peralta and Luis Rodriguez were absent. ARB-213 Ordinance No. 2021-18 (Zoning Text Amendment to Section 6.4.1.A.5. of Wellington’s Land Development Regulations Fences, Walls, and Hedges) AN ORDINANCE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA’S COUNCIL AMENDING THE WELLINGTON LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS, MORE SPECIFICALLY, A ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT TO MODIFY SECTION 6.4.1.A.5 OF ARTICLE 6, FOR PURPOSES OF MAINTAINING A CONSISTENT APPEARANCE FOR HEDGES AND FENCES THROUGHOUT WELLINGTON WITH CONCENTRATION ALONG THOROUGHFARES, AS CONTAINED HEREIN; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. A motion was made by Thomas Wenham, seconded by Dayna Bertola, to approve Ordinance No. 2021-18 a Zoning Text Amendment to Section 6.4.1.A.5 of Wellington Land Development Regulations (LDR) for Fences, Hedges, and Walls. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Roger Grave de Peralta and Luis Rodriguez were absent. VIII. COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC IX. COMMENTS FROM STAFF Kelly Ferraiolo advised the Board Members that the September meeting falls on Yom Kippur. Staff will look into September's meeting schedule and get back with the Board to come up with a new meeting date. X. COMMENTS FROM THE BOARD XI. ADJOURN The meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.
