CALL TO ORDER Board Members Present - Maria Antuna, Jeffrey Browning, Ryan Mishkin, Luis Rodriguez, and Stacy Somers. Board Members Absent (Excused) - Miguel Alonso and Maria Raspanti Staff Members Present - Kelly Ferraiolo, Senior Planner, Christian Santa-Gonzalez, Planner, and Laurie Cohen, Village Attorney II. REMARKS BY CHAIRMAN III. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE IV. APPOINTMENT OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR A motion was made by Luis Rodriguez, seconded by Ryan Mishkin, to nominate Stacy Somers as Chair. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Miguel Alonso and Maria Raspanti had excused absences. A motion was made by Maria Antuna, seconded by Jeff Browning, to nominate Maria Antuna as Vice Chair. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Miguel Alonso and Maria Raspanti had excused absences. V. APPROVAL OF MINUTES ARB-281 Approval of the May 24, 2023 Architectural Review Board Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Luis Rodriguez, seconded by Ryan Mishkin, to approve the May 24, 2023 ARB Meeting Minutes as amended. The motion passed unanimously (5-0). Miguel Alonso and Maria Raspanti had excused absences. VI. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS/REORDERING OF AGENDA Prior to Old Business, Laurie Cohen, Village Attorney, provided a brief presentation on the Sunshine Law and Ethics. VII. SWEARING IN OF SPEAKERS VIII. OLD BUSINESS ARB-282 Petition 2023-0010-ARB Color Board Modification (Sprite Twist) A motion was made by Luis Rodriguez, seconded by Maria Antuna, to add Sprite Twist to the ARB Color Board. The motion failed due to a lack of majority (2-3). Jeffrey Browning, Stacy Somers, and Ryan Mishkin dissented. Miguel Alonso and Maria Raspanti had excused absences. NEW BUSINESS ARB-283 Petition 2023-0012-ARB Channing Villas Alternative Material for Hedges A motion was made by Luis Rodriguez, seconded by Jeffrey Browning, to approve Petition 2023-0012-ARB Channing Villas Alternative Material for Hedges.
