The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Whitlow, Lund, Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis, Shockley and Meigs B EPC-001 Approval of Minutes - May 14, 2014 A motion was made by Michael Whitlow, seconded by Linda Elie, passed 7-0 to approve the May 14, 2014 minutes with changes. Aye: 7- Whitlow, Lund, Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis, Shockley and Meigs II New Business A EPC-002 Election of Chairman and Vice Chair A motion was made by Linda Smith Faver , seconded by Dr. Kristy Lund, approved 5-2 to nominate Linda Elie as Chair. Aye: 5- Lund, Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis and Shockley Nay: 2- Whitlow and Meigs A motion was made by Linda Smith Faver , seconded by Dr. Kristy Lund, approved 7-0 to nominate Michael Whitlow as Vice Chair. Aye: 7- Whitlow, Lund, Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis, Shockley and Meigs B EPC-003 Discussion of Joint Meeting with Village Council Joint meeting scheduled for June 17, 2014 at 6:30 pm. C EPC-004 Discussion of EPC Duties and Responsibilities A discussion of duties and responsibilities was presented to the committee. D EPC-005 Overview of Equestrian Element of the Comprehensive Plan An overview of the Equestrian Element of the Comprehensive Plan was presented to the committee. E EPC-006 Overview of the Equestrian Overlay Zoning District (EOZD) An overview of the Equestrian Overlay zoning District was presented to the committee. III Staff Comments None IV Board Comments A motion was made by Linda smith-Faver, seconded by Houston Meigs, approved (7-0) to place the Saddle Trail Issue on the June 17, 2014 Joint Workshop Meeting Agenda. Aye: 7- Whitlow, Lund, Ellie, Smith Faver, Ellis, Shockley and Meigs Board Comments A motion was made by Michael Whitlow, seconded by Linda Smith-Faver, approved 7-0 to place the tax assessment increase on the June 17, 2014 Joint Workshop Agenda.
