CALL TO ORDER Jeffery Robbert called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Jeffrey Robbert; John Bowers; Sal Van Casteren; and Maureen Martinez. APPROVAL OF MINUTES PZ-0257 NOVEMBER 10, 2021 PLANNING, ZONING AND ADJUSTMENT BOARD MINUTES A motion was made by John Bowers, seconded by Sal Van Casteren, to approve the November 10, 2021 Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Board minutes. The motion passed unanimously (4-0) with Elizabeth Mariaca, Adam Rabin, and Ron Herman absent. V. ADDITIONS/DELETIONS/REORDERING OF AGENDA VI. SWEARING IN OF SPEAKERS VII. NEW BUSINESS PZ-0258 ORDINANCE NO. 2022-03: COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE MOBILITY ELEMENT AN ORDINANCE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA’S COUNCIL AMENDING WELLINGTON COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, MORE SPECIFICALLY, TO MODIFY THE MOBILITY ELEMENT BY REPLACING THE EXISTING PEDESTRIAN NETWORK MAP WITH THE PEDESTRIAN PATHWAY NETWORK MAP; UPDATING THE BICYCLE LANES MAP; ADDING THE MULTI-MODAL PATHWAYS MAP; REORDERING OTHER EXISTING MAPS IN THE MOBILITY ELEMENT; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Village of Wellington Page 1 Planning, Zoning and Adjustment Action Summary January 12, 2022 Board Michael O’Dell, Assistant Director of Planning, Zoning and Building, presented to the Board the request for approval of Ordinance No. 2022-03 to modify the maps located within the Mobility Element in the Comprehensive Plan, which depict Pedestrian Pathways Network, Bicycle Lanes, and the Multi-Modal Pathways. Mr. O’Dell reviewed the maps and the grants for the Multi-Modal Projects and the Bicycle Lane Projects. Mr. O’Dell reviewed the time frames for remaining projects, which include the pathways widenings and multi-modal crossings/bridges. A motion was made by John Bowers, seconded by Maureen Martinez, to open public comment. The motion passed unanimously (4-0) with Elizabeth Mariaca, Adam Rabin and Ron Herman absent. None.
