PSC-002 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE JUNE 25, 2014 REGULAR MEETING Attachments: Minutes - June 25, 2014 The minutes of the Wednesday, June 25, 2014 regular meeting of the Public Safety Committee are attached for review and approval. V Reports A. PSC-004 STAFF REPORT James Poag will provide a report on current and upcoming public safety related items and issues including a summary of the new Major Thoroughfare Improvement Grant and current and future Safe Neighborhoods projects and programs. B. PSC-005 PALM BEACH COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORT Captain Hart will give an update on current crime trends and statistics and discuss the most recent Strategic Review Report. In addition, information will be provided on how residents can keep themselves and their belongings safe while holiday shopping as well as a review of current Wellington and County Ordinances governing 24 hour businesses and current Statutes regulating municipal golf cart use. C. PSC-006 PALM BEACH COUNTY FIRE RESCUE REPORT Battalion Chief Mike Arena will provide an update on current happenings as well as present the most recent Response Time Reports. A brief overview of the upcoming fire season will also be discussed. VI Old Business None VII New Business A. PSC-007 VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON CODE COMPLIANCE Steve Koch, Code Compliance Manager for the Village will discuss Wellington’s Code Compliance Department and respond to questions from the Committee.
