IV Approval of Minutes PSC-035 Attachments: 10.28.15D The last meeting of the Public Safety Committee took place on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 beginning at 7:00 p.m. The minutes of that meeting are attached for your review and approval. V Reports PSC-037 James Poag will provide a report on the current and upcoming public safety related items and issues including a Community Services and Code Enforcement Initiative update. Mr. Poag will also respond to any Committee questions or concerns. PSC-038 Lt. Eli Shaivitz of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office District 8 Wellington will provide an update on currrent crime trends and statistics. In addition, at the request of the Committee Chair, Lt. Shaivitz will report on truck traffic within the Village. Lt. Shaivitz will also introduce Wellington's K9 Officer Leo and his handler, Deputy Sheriff Scott Bates. He will also be available to respond to questions regarding public safety related matters and concerns. PSC-039 Battalion Chief Mike Arena will. provide an update on current happenings as well as present the most recent Response Time Reports. Chief Arena will also discuss the purpose of emergency signal lights, backyard fire pit safety and early storm preparedness.
