APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 19-0144 October 25, 2018 (draft) Minutes A motion was made by Mr. Hook, seconded by Ald. Vitale, that the minutes of the October 25, 2018 meeting be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 9- Ms. Brinkley, Ms. Cosby, Ms. Groshek, Mr. Hook, Ms. Lawson, Ald. May, Ms. Olstad, Mr. Plicka, and Ald. Vitale No: 0 D. PUBLIC HEARING A motion was made by Ald. Vitale, seconded by Ald.l May, to open the Public Hearing. 2. 19-0147 Fiscal Year 2018 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Attachments: Public Hearing Notice-FY 2018 CAPER (CDBG) The public hearing notice was read by Luke Radomski, Community Development Supervisor. Mr. Radomski outlined that the purpose of the meeting was to review the annual accomplishments of the FY 2018 Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant program. Mr. Radomski gave a brief overview of the 2018 Annual CDBG Report, providing a summary of activity accomplishments. In addition, he noted that in October, HUD mailed the official award letter to the City, allocating $1,255,225 in entitlement funds, which was $289,236 more than staff had anticipated. Awards continue to be delayed further into the fiscal year they are allocated to fund. Continuation of this practice will create further budgetary hurdles. There being no public comment, a motion was made by Ald. May, seconded by Steve Hook to close the Public Hearing section of the meeting. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 3. 19-0145 Recommendation to the Common Council of the 2018 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. A motion was made by Ald. May, seconded by Mr. Plicka, that this matter was Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 9- Ms. Brinkley, Ms. Cosby, Ms. Groshek, Mr. Hook, Ms. Lawson, Ald. May, Ms. Olstad, Mr. Plicka, and Ald. Vitale No: 0 F. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 4. 19-0146 Discussion relative to the funding of the 2019 Community Development Block Grant Neighborhood Outreach Program. Discussion ensued with questions being answered by staff. This matter was Discussed. G. ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Ald.
