NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 2. 18-00384 Recap of the 2017 Capital Improvement Plan - Comparison of Budget to Actual. Ms. Steeno provided an overviewed of the 2017 Capital Improvement Plan. This matter was Placed on File Aye: 8- Mayor Devine, Vitale, Ms. Grill, Ms. Steeno, Tolani, Mr. Wepking, Mr. Daniels, and Schloss No: 0 3. 18-00385 Progress Update on Approved/Funded 2018 Capital Improvement Program. Mr. Daniels provided an overview of the report; overall under budget. This matter was Discussed 4. 18-00386 Review of Charter Ordinance No. 19 (A Charter Ordinance to repeal Charter Ordinance No. 18 and provide a referendum on the issuance of General Obligation Bonds for specified municipal purposes). A. This matter was Held 5. 18-00387 Introduction of the 2019 - 2023 Capital Improvement Program - DRAFT 1 Attachments: 2019-2023 CIP with Attachments 7-25-18 FINAL Ms. Steeno explained that prior to 2018 the Capital Improvement Program consisted of mostly street repair and related programs. The Plan that is before the committee now is a five-year plan and the committee and Council do not need to focus on 2020-2023. Police Chief Patrick Mitchell commented on the need of the replacement of marked and investigative squads, police evidence storage facility, and fingerprint capture system. Mr. Daniels commented on various street projects/public infrastructure improvements, other projects include pavement patching, lead pipe replacements, sewer and storm sewer work, and parking lot improvements. Mr. Schloss commented on the Kopperud Park Improvements. Mr. Wepking commented on the following improvements for the Department of Public Works: storm basins, sanitary manholes, fuel pits, street lights and traffic lights, Library windows, Information Technology HVAC retrofit, Assett Management System, various equipment and vehicles. E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION 6. 18-00388 Discussion regarding the Facility Study Results and creation of a sub-committee to develop a plan of action subject to Committee and Common Council approval. To be discussed at the July 31, 2018 Capital Improvement Committee meeting. 7. 18-00432 Status of Fleet Audit - Update. To be discussed at the July 31, 2018 Capital Improvement Committee meeting. F.
