A. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Ms. Wikenhauser at 3:51 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL

2. 19-0324 Correspondence and/or Communication
Ms. Wikenhauser discussed with Mr. Schloss updates with Eras.
Debbie Tiegs shared information about her trip to Madison for Senior Statesman Day.
Participants were instructed how to approach representatives with questions.

4. 19-0326 Report on Community Projects
i. Stockbox Program Update
ii. Interfaith West Central & Resource Center
Stockbox Program Update: May had 111 boxes, traffic moved well due to more
help handing out additional items; ham, roasted turkey, apples and pinto beans
Neighborhood Outreach Program: (Formally known as Interfaith West Central &
Resource Center) Eras has a call center in Waukesha and rides are being scheduled
there through the end of the year. A few listening sessions have been scheduled to
inform the public an update, one is scheduled June 6th, 6:00 to 7:30 at 9600 W Layton
Avenue.

5. 19-0327 Discussion of 2019 Senior Seminar Topic
Music & Memory (M&M) program to be held tentatively at West Allis Hale, August 20,
2019, 1:00-4:00. Ms. Koenig is working with the M&M Regional Representative. Ms.
Wikenhauser will contact the Park and Recreation department regarding availability of
venue. It was suggested the seminar includes a viewing of the Alive Inside documentary.

6. 19-0328 Discussion of purchase of portable partition for Stonewall Room
Ms. Koenig discussed EZ blocks structure and will pursue pricing options.

7. 19-0330 Staff Report
Commissioners were asked if they would be interested in wrapping and distributing the
Veterans’ Christmas presents. All were in favor of administrating the Veterans Christmas
program if Communications decides to discontinue this project. Commissioners were
also notified of all the upcoming programs and trainings that are coming.

The meeting adjourned at 5:19 p.m. with the next scheduled meeting to be held on June
24, 2019.
