CALL TO ORDER Council President Lajsic called the meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 10 - Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, and Weigel Ald. Grisham present via telephone C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 2021-1415 November 16, 2021 Draft Committee of the Whole Minutes. Ald. Stefanski moved to approve this matter, Ald. Vitale seconded, motion carried. D. CLOSED SESSION Ald. Kuehn moved to convene into Closed Session at 6:05 p.m., pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e), for agenda items 2, 3 and 4 and Wis. Stat. Section 19.85 (1)(g) for agenda item 5, Wis. Stat., Ald. Stefanski seconded, motion carried by roll call vote. Roll Call - 10 - Lajsic, Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, Weigel Ald. Kuehn moved to re-convene into Open Session at 6:57 p.m., Ald. Stefanski seconded, motion carried by roll call vote. Roll Call was taken and the following were present: Present - 10 - Lajsic, Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, Weigel 2. 2021-1239 Discussion of the creation of a joint fire department option under Wis. Stat. 62.13(2m)(a). 3. 2021-0042 Deliberating the repair or replacement of the Public Works Facility currently located at 6300 W. McGeoch Ave. 4. 2022-0063 Discussion regarding status of lease between City and Aurora West Allis Medical Center. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION F. ADJOURNMENT Ald. Weigel moved to adjourn at 6:57 p.m., seconded by Ald. Tenorio, motion carried. All meetings of the {bdName} are public meetings. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the individual(s) must be scheduled (as an appearance) with the chair of the committee or the appropriate staff contact; otherwise, the meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee members, the mayor, other alderpersons, staff and others that may be a party to the matter being discussed. ROLL CALL C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1. 2021-1415 November 16, 2021 Draft Committee of the Whole Minutes. Recommendation: Approve D. CLOSED SESSION 2. 2021-1239 Discussion of the creation of a joint fire department option under Wis. Stat. 62.13(2m)(a). For agenda item #2, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the investing of public funds or conducting other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The Committee of the Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the agenda. 3. 2021-0042 Deliberating the repair or replacement of the Public Works Facility currently located at 6300 W. McGeoch Ave. For agenda item #3, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds. The Committee of the Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the agenda. 4. 2022-0063 Discussion regarding status of lease between City and Aurora West Allis Medical Center. For agenda item #4, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds. The Committee of the Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the agenda. For agenda item #5, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(g), conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. The Committee of the Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider the balance of the agenda. E. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION F. ADJOURNMENT All meetings of the Committee of the Whole are public meetings.
