REGULAR MEETING
A. CALL TO ORDER
Council President Lajsic called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
B. ROLL CALL
Present 10 - Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Lajsic, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio, Vitale, and
Weigel
C. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
1. 2022-0521 April 7, 2022 Draft Committee of the Whole Minutes.
Ald. Stefanski moved to approve this matter, Ald. Reinke seconded, motion
carried.
D. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ACTION
2. 2022-0476 Presentation and discussion of options to mitigate persistent structural
deficit.
Administrator/Clerk Grill discussed options.
CLOSED SESSION
Ald. Stefanski moved to convene into Closed Session at 6:06 p.m., pursuant to
the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e), for agenda items 3, 4 and 5, Ald.
Vitale seconded, motion carried by roll call vote.
Roll Call - 10 - Lajsic, Grisham, Haass, Kuehn, Reinke, Roadt, Stefanski, Tenorio,
Vitale, Weigel
Ald. Stefanski moved to re-convene into Open Session at 6:27 p.m., Ald. Tenorio
seconded, motion carried by roll call vote.
Roll Call was taken and the following were present:

3. 2021-1239 Discussion of the creation of a joint fire department option under Wis. Stat.
62.13(2m)(a).
4. 2021-0042 Deliberating the repair or replacement of the Public Works Facility currently
located at 6300 W. McGeoch Ave.

5. 2022-0063 Discussion regarding status of lease between City and Aurora West Allis
Medical Center.
E. ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Stefanski moved to adjourn at 6:27 p.m., Ald. Tenorio seconded, motion
carried

meeting of the committee is a working session for the committee itself, and discussion by those in attendance is limited to committee

CLOSED SESSION
3. 2021-1239 Discussion of the creation of a joint fire department option under Wis. Stat.
62.13(2m)(a).
For agenda item #3, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant
to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or
negotiating the investing of public funds or conducting other specified public business
whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. The Committee of the
Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed session to consider
the balance of the agenda.
4. 2021-0042 Deliberating the repair or replacement of the Public Works Facility currently
located at 6300 W. McGeoch Ave.
For agenda item #4, the Committee of the Whole may convene in closed session pursuant
to the provisions of Wis. Stat. Section 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of deliberating or
negotiating the purchasing of public properties or the investing of public funds. The
Committee of the Whole may reconvene in open session after completion of the closed
session to consider the balance of the agenda.
