E. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Jon Ibisch, 7546 W. Greenfield Ave., business manager for The Corner Bazaar, addressed his
request for resale in the downtown West Allis Business Improvement District. He described
having a corner closet on the lower level as well as a family furniture corner. He addressed the
Business Improvement District's communication, and submitted a petition in support of The
Corner Bazaar's request.
Joni Rupnow, 1211 S. 75 St., volunteer at The Corner Bazaar. She described the customers as
positive, and commented on dealing with a difficult economy. She commented on how the
customers want more affordable items, and she supported the amendment request.
Rachel Kostrzewa, 6616 Hillside Ln., supported The Corner Bazaar's request for amendment.

G. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
Mayor's Report
Mayor Devine addressed the officers who were wounded in the line of duty. He thanked them
for their service and everyone else who works to keep the community safe.
He reminded everyone that school is back in session, and encouraged safe and attentive
driving. Also, he announced the Partisan Primary scheduled for September 14th.
Alderpersons Comments
Ald. Weigel commented on the parking of cars at City Hall during State Fair. He also
addressed swat and K-9 unit training at various houses.
