G. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
Mayor's Report
Mayor Devine announced that this week is National Police Week and recognizes and
appreciates the work of the West Allis Police Department; also on May 21, 2011 the West Allis
Police Department will hold the City Wide Clean Up.
Alderpersons Comments
Ald. Weigel remarked on the success of the Let's Get Local event. Ald. Weigel announced
bringing back bicycle racing to the City planned for the Summer of 2012. Anyone interested in
coordinating this event is to contact Diane Brandt at the Chamber of Commerce or Ald.
Weigel.
Ald. Reinke made three (3) announcements. First, the T-shirts for Tuscaloosa benefiting the
tornado victims; the West Allis Ala Carte will be held Sunday, June 5, 2011 from noon - 6 p.m.;
and on Memorial Day the Celebrations Committee will be delivering gift packets for the
Veterans.
