CITIZEN PARTICIPATION Jessica Katzenmeyer, 7139 W. Greenfield Ave, introduced herself and stated she is running for US Congress District 5. F. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECESS MEETINGS OF STANDING COMMITTEES Mayor Devine announced that the following Standing Committees would meet during recess: Administration & Finance, Public Works, Safety & Development, License & Health and Advisory. G. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Devine stated there are flu clinics schedule which are open to public and no appointment necessary. Dates and times can be found on the City's website. https://www.westalliswi.gov/1895/Flu-Clinics. October is Domestic Violence Awareness month and thanked the West Allis Women's Club for putting up purple ribbons and bows around City Hall's plaza and courtyard to raise awareness. Stefanski stated on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at 84th and Arthur there is a memorial benefit for John Hollman who died in a motorcycle accident at 84th and Lincoln. Westallion Brewery and three food trucks will be present as well as some raffle and auction items. Himself along with Ald. Grisham and the Wisconsin Truck Takeover Enthusiast Group organized the benefit. Ald. Weigel stated those living around 79th and Lincoln should be aware that St. Paul's Lutheran Church would like to demolish three of their properties to expand their playground. There will be a neighborhood meeting hosted by City Staff on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers. We are reaching out to the neighbors for their input and there will also be a formal public hearing held at a later date. I. Approved. 11. 2021-1014 Claim by Shirley Glore regarding a personal injury at 1414 S. 65th Street on the sidewalk on July 4, 2021.
