1. O-2022-0117 Ordinance to amend the zoning map for certain properties along West
Becher Street And West National Avenue in alignment with the 2040
Comprehensive Plan. Amending section 19.01.
Planning and Zoning Manager, Steve Schaer presented.
Curtis Oakliss 7033 W Lincoln Ave, questioned the impact the development would have
on taxes.
Andrea Vollriede, 2131 S 90th St, wanted more explanation and agreed to talk offline.
E. CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
Alejandra Hernandez, 845 S 75th St, spoke about problems with landlord.
Curtis Oakliss, 7033 W Lincoln Ave, spoke about problems WE Energies.
F. ANNOUNCEMENT OF RECESS MEETINGS OF STANDING COMMITTEES
Mayor Devine announced that the following Standing Committees would meet during
recess: Administration & Finance, Public Works, Safety & Development, License &
Health, and Advisory.
G. MAYOR'S REPORT
Mayor Dan Devine spoke about the Election next week and Community Services National
Night Out.

Ald. Kuehn/Grisham spoke about Conrad Garden and the Reservoir Park Clean Up & Ice
Cream Social on 8/20/22 from 9am-11am.
Ald Weigel spoke about the 72nd Street Block Party, Parking Issues and Neighborhood
Clean Up.
Ald. Reinke spoke about National Night Out and the great job the police did, as well as
Don Falk paying for the Children to play for free in the bounce house.

All meetings of the Common Council are public meetings. In order for the general public to make comments at the committee meetings, the
