Tiffany Stark, 6414 W. Burnham St., spoke about concerns with Granite Hills. Chad Halverson, 1028 S. 77th St., thanked the council and the other city staff for work they have done and spoke about his love for the community. Doug Gendron, 2261 S. 60th St., spoke about Longfellow School Redevelopment. Sagar Tolani, 7059 W. Stuth Pl., thanked Ald. Lajsic for his service and introduce himself as a candidate for District 4. MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Devine *spoke about traffic safety near Irving Elementary * thanked attendees of the West Allis Police Department Community Partnership meeting *spoke about the West Allis Women's Club Queen for the Day luncheon *spoke about Coffee with the Mayor and the Hit & Run at 68th & Lincoln and encouraged community support of the 2 businesses effected *recognized that February is Black History Month *spoke about the Burger King demolition H. ALDERPERSON'S REPORT Ald. Kuehn announced the Friends of La Follette Park will be hosting their annual Empty Bowls event 2/17/24 from 3-6p.m. Ald. Grisham wished Ald. Kuehn a happy birthday. Ald. Turner spoke about the Milwaukee Business Journal listed this area as being a desirable market for 1st time home buyers. Ald. Reinke thanked the staff at the West Allis Health Department and spoke about receiving an award for maintaining a Level III Health Department Certification. I.
