MAYOR'S REPORT Mayor Devine encouraged the public to attend the Veteran's Day ceremony on November 11th, at 11am at the Police substation at Veterans Memorial Park (6900 W. National Ave.). He also welcomed new business, Carnitas de Rafa, which is now opened at 7030 W. Lincoln Ave. H. ALDERPERSONS' REPORT Ald. Weigel encouraged the public to attend the monthly taxpayer association meetings at Nico's Pizza. He also mentioned he attended the Buckthorn Weed Out event at McCarty Park, organized by the Friends of McCarty Park group. There is a proposed new group for Friends of Greenfield Park, and encouraged those who are interested to get involved. Ald. Halvorsen thanked City employees for organizing the rodent walk. R-2025-4402 Resolution to continue the contract with Cities & Villages Mutual Insurance Company (CVMIC) for furnishing worker’s compensation third party administrative services. Adopted 12. 2025-9763 Appointment by Mayor Devine of Andreas Meyris to the Block Grant Committee for a 2-year term to expire November 4th, 2027. Approved 13. 2025-10157 Appointment by Mayor Devine of Ty Stahl as the School Administrative Liaison on the West Allis Block Grant Committee, serving an indefinite term. Approved 14. 2025-10176 Appointment by Mayor Devine of Ray Turner to the Commission on Aging for a 3-year term to expire November 4, 2028. Approved 15. 2025-9839 Claim by Linda Miller for property damage on October 1, 2025 at the intersection of HWY 100 and Oklahoma Ave. Referred to City Attorney 16. 2025-9840 Lawsuit by Bank of Lake Mills regarding foreclosure of mortgage of multiple property locations - Milwaukee County Case No. 2025-CV8905. Referred to City Attorney 17. 2025-9841 Lawsuit by Milwaukee County regarding in rem tax foreclosure of 6124 W. Madison St., 2140 S. 75th St., 8510 W. Arthur Pl., and 7702 W. Washington St. Committee Action: Ald. Weigel motioned to approve as amended with hours of Monday - Thursday & Sundays of 8am - 10pm, and last Friday of the month of 8am - 1am, Ald. Kuehn seconded, motion carried. Council Action: Ald. Kuehn motioned to amend Committee recommendations, adding hours of 8pm - 1am on New Years Eve, Ald. Grob seconded, motion carried with the following roll call vote: Yes: 9 - Ald. Weigel, Grisham, Grob, Haass, Halvorsen, Kuehn, Nowling, Roadt & Turner. No: 0 22. R-2025-4295 Resolution to approve agreement for the sale of donated hydrocarbon interests for the benefit of the Senior Center. Committee Action: Ald. Kuehn moved to adopt, Ald.
