SPECIAL MEETING
A. Call to Order
Ms. Wadewitz called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
B. Roll Call
Present 9- Adam Hengel, Gloria Dohearty, Barbara Hart, Kari Southern, Jody Rymaszewski,
Elizabeth Suelzer, Ray Turner, Michelle Wadewitz, and Angelito Tenorio
Staff present: Michael Koszalka, Library Director, and Emily Rutter, Adult Services and
Circulation Supervisor

D. New Business
West Allis Public Library Temporary Safety Practices Policy in response to
COVID-19
Attachments: West Allis Public Library Temporary Safety Practices Policy in

Alderperson Tenorio moved to approve the West Allis Public Library Temporary
Safety Practices Policy in response to COVID-19. Second by Ms. Suelzer.
Further discussion ensued. Mr. Hengel moved to approve an amendment that
changes the repeal of the policy from "upon the expiration of the emergency
originally declared on March 17, 2020" to "at the discretion of the Library Board".
Second by Ms. Wadewitz. The policy was unanimously approved.
E. Adjournment
There being no further business, Ms. Hart moved to adjourn. Second by Mr.
Hengel. Motion approved. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 p.m.

LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY STATEMENT
It is the policy of the City of West Allis to provide language access services to populations of persons with Limited English Proficiency
(LEP) who are eligible to be served or likely to be directly affected by our programs. Such services will be focused on providing
meaningful access to our programs, services and/or benefits.
