Braun, Agent, d/b/a Braun’s Power House, for premises located at 7100 W. National Ave. (new-existing location). Appearance by Joseph S. Braun. Discussion ensued regarding Mr. Braun's use of the Instrumental Music License for karaoke and an occasional live band. A motion was made by Ald. Roadt, seconded by Ald. Weigel, that this matter was Recommended for Approval subject to the necessary requirement(s). The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, and Ald. Weigel No: 0 3. 2014-0671 Police Department Report regarding September 24, 2014 Tobacco Compliance Check involving thirteen (13) West Allis businesses, resulting with two (2) selling tobacco to an underage person without requesting identification (2014-2015 Cigarette License no. 2120 of MAC Services, Inc., Ikram S. Chaudhry, Agent, d/b/a Mobil, premises located at 2315 S. 76 St.). Attachments: Police Report September 2014 Appearance by Ikram S. Chaudhry. Discussion ensued regarding the violation of the tobacco compliance check and what measures Mr. Chaudhry is taking to keep in compliance. This matter was Recommended to be Placed on File on a Block Vote. 4. 2014-0672 Police Department Report regarding September 24, 2014 Tobacco Compliance Check involving thirteen (13) West Allis businesses, resulting with two (2) selling tobacco to an underage person without requesting identification (2014-2015 Cigarette License no. 2106 of Beloit Citgo, Tokeer A. Bajwa, Agent, d/b/a Beloit Citgo, premises located at 5926 W. Beloit Rd.). Attachments: Police Report September 2014 Appearance by Tokeer A. Bajwa. Discussion ensued regarding the violation of the tobacco compliance check and what measures Mr. Bajwa is taking to keep in compliance. Mr. Schumacher was reminded to call police, be helpful and cooperative with the police and to check identification. A motion was made by Ald. Roadt, seconded by Ald. Discussion ensued regarding Mr. Vojvodich's police report. A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. Roadt, that this matter was Recommended for Denial based on the police report. Weigel No: 0 7. 2014-0641 2014-2015 Operator's License (bartender/sales clerk) application no. 15-507 for Terry E. McKee. Nonappearance of Terry E. McKee. Mr. McKee contacted the Clerk's Office. The Committee requested he be ordered to appear at the next scheduled License & Health meeting. This matter was Held. 8. 2014-0642 2014-2015 Operator's License (bartender/sales clerk) application no. 15-509 for Kristen Elena Abbrederis. Appearance by Kristen Elena Abbrederis. Discussion ensued regarding Ms. Abbrederis' police report. A motion was made by Ald. Roadt, seconded by Ald. Weigel, that this matter was Recommended For Approval. Discussion ensued regarding Ms. Randhawa's application not reflecting the police report. Ms. Randhawa stated she thought the tickets were against the establishment and not her personally. Roadt No: 1- Ald. Weigel 11. 2014-0686 Summons and Complaint in the matter of the complaint against Abigail R. Sindelar, 2014-2016 Operator’s License (bartender/sales clerk) no. 16-181. The Committee requested a hearing date of Tuesday, November 18th. Assistant City Attorney Merten stated she would confirm with the City Attorney regarding the date. Monty, Agent, d/b/a PM Pub & Grub for premises located at 6533 W. Mitchell St. Appearance by Dorene J. and John Monty. Mr. Monty updated the Committee on the pending payment for the delinquent taxes with Milwaukee County. Attorney Merten commented that the County has not received any additional money toward the delinquent taxes. She requested that Mr. & Ms. Monty provide the following information within one week or appear again in November: Proof of the sale of the property in which the money to pay the delinquent taxes is coming from and the name of the Attorney Mr. Monty claims is not releasing the money from the sale of the property. This matter was Held. 14. 2013-0652 Summons and Complaint in the matter of the complaint against PM Pub & Grub, Inc., Dorene J. Monty, Agent, for the premises located at 6533 W. Mitchell St., d/b/a PM Pub & Grub (2013-2014 Class B Tavern License renewal application no. 1447, Dance Hall License renewal application no. 1449, amusement devices renewal, phonograph license renewal and Food-Related renewal Permit).
