CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chair Czaplewski at 8:20 p.m. B. ROLL CALL Present 5- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, Ald. May, and Ald. Weigel Others present: Tabitha A. Harris, Dana R. Brycki, Molly M. Bangs, Reena Bassi, Scott Post, City Attorney, Nicholas Cerwin, Assistant City Attorney, and Monica Schultz, City Clerk. C. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 52. 2016-0691 2016-2017 Class B Tavern License application no. 2378, of Premier Sports Lounge, LLC, Tabitha A. Harris, Agent, d/b/a Premier Sports Lounge, for the premises located at 1022 S. 60 St. (new-existing location). Appearance by Tabitha A. Harris. A motion was made by Ald. May, seconded by Ald. Haass, that this matter was Recommended for Approval subject to the necessary requirement(s). The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, Ald. May, and Ald. Weigel No: 0 54. 2016-0690 2016-2017 Operator’s License (bartender/sales clerk) application no. 17-526 of Dana R. Brycki. Appearance by Dana R. Brycki. A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. Haass, that this matter was Recommended For Approval. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, Ald. May, and Ald. Sukkert. Second nonappearance of Bryant L. Sukkert. Mr. Sukkert indicated by a telephone call to the Clerk's Office that he longer needed this license. A motion was made by Ald. May, seconded by Ald. Roadt, that this matter was Recommended to be Placed on File. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, Ald. May, and Ald. Weigel No: 0 57. 2016-0672 2016-2017 Operator’s License (bartender/sales clerk) application no. 17-519 of Molly M. Bangs. Appearance by Molly M. Bangs. A motion was made by Ald. Haass, seconded by Ald. May, that this matter was Recommended for Denial based on the record check. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 3- Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, and Ald. May No: 2- Ald. Czaplewski, and Ald. Weigel 58. 2016-0657 Police Department Report regarding September 18, 2016 Tobacco Compliance Check involving eleven (11) West Allis businesses, resulting with two (2) selling tobacco to an underage person without requesting identification (Jasleen Enterprises, LLC, Reena Bassi, Agent, d/b/a Jasleen Express, premises located at 8323 W. Becher St.). Appearance by Reena Bassi. A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. May, that this matter was Recommended to be Placed on File. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, Ald. May, and Ald. Weigel No: 0 55. R-2016-0277 Resolution to impose a moratorium on issuing new Class A Combination Liquor Licenses. Sponsors: Ald. Weigel Attachments: R-2016-0277 signed A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. Haass, that this matter was Recommended For Adoption As Amended. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. Haass, Ald. May, and Ald.
