Seiy, Agent, Incident Date: October 30, 2016. Nonappearance of Daniel R. Seiy. Mr. Seiy did not contact the Clerk's Office. The Committee requested he be ordered to appear at the next scheduled License & Health meeting. This matter was Held. Czaplewski stated he had spoken to Mr. Pohlabel regarding the incidents on October 22, 2016 and November 20, 2016 and that all the charges had been dropped. Ald. Roadt inquired if there could be additional camera coverage required on the west side of the building. Assistant City Attorney Cerwin said the Committee could request an update to the Plan of Operation. This matter was Recommended to be Placed on File on a Block Vote. 4. 2016-0743 Police Department Report involving Heart Breakers, 9440 W. National Ave., of Milwaukee Entertainment, LLC, Steven N. Pohlabel, II, Agent, Incident Date: November 20, 2016. See legislative file number 2016-0737. This matter was Recommended to be Placed on File on a Block Vote. Passed The Block Vote A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. Roadt, to approve all the actions on the preceding items on a Block Vote. Discussion ensued regarding the police reports and the increase of incidents occurring at many establishments. This matter was Recommended to be Placed on File on a Block Vote. 6. 2016-0736 Police Department Report involving The Spot, 6426 W. Greenfield Ave., E. Bomback & L. Bald, Partnership, Incident Date: November 14, 2016. See legislative file number 2016-0733. Discussion ensued regarding the police report and the incident on November 25, 2016. The Committee reminded Ms. Lopez not to over serve her customers. A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. May, that this matter was Recommended to be Placed on File. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. May, and Ald. Weigel No: 0 9. 2017-0035 Police Department Report involving 6500 Restaurant & Bar, 6500 W. Greenfield Ave., of JM 6500 Investments, LLC, Tonja M. Bassett, Agent, Incident Date: December 11, 2016. Appearance by Tonja M. Bassett. Discussion ensued regarding the police report of the incident on December 11, 2016. Ms. Bassett was informed to make sure her bartenders have West Allis Bartender Licenses, that they should call the police for problems, and to be cooperative when the police arrive. A motion was made by Ald. Weigel, seconded by Ald. Roadt, that this matter was Recommended to be Placed on File. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Ald. Czaplewski, Ald. Roadt, Ald. May, and Ald. Weigel No: 0 10. 2017-0031 Police Department Report involving Megan S. Brown, 2015-2017 Operator's License (bartender/sales clerk) no. 17-29, (Remedy Bar, 1309 S. 60 St.) Incident Date: December 5, 2016. Nonappearance of Megan S. Brown. Ms. Brown did not contact the Clerk's Office. The Committee requested she be ordered to appear at the next scheduled License & Health meeting. This matter was Held. 11. 2016-0720 2016-2017 Operator’s License (bartender/sales clerk) application no. 17-516 of Tara Morehouse. Nonappearance of Tara Morehouse. Discussion ensued regarding Ms. Minor's police report. The Committee requested this item be held until February 7, 2017. Chair Czaplewski stated Ms. Minor did not need to appear again. Appearances by: Gregory Barczak, 88 Keys. Discussion ensued regarding the prior offer not going through, and that the business is listed with a realtor. Anh Vu Nguyen, Pho Cali Restaurant. Mr. Nguyen submitted the Articles of Organization for the business and was informed that his licenses would be ready Wednesday, January 25, 2017. John Buchkowski, Fairview Motors. Discussion ensued regarding the BINS requirements still needed. continued Nonappearances of: Janis S. Fazen, Dog House. Ms. Fazen did not contact the Clerk's Office. Nabil R. Alfahel, Classic Realty of West Allis. Mr. Alfahel did not contact the Clerk's Office. Vigneshwar R. Bhadharla, Vani’s Kitchen. Mr. Bhadharla's license was issued on January 24, 2017. Danny Sarandos, Parthenon Foods. Mr. Sarandos contacted Chair Czaplewski. Gerald M. Pfeifer, Hawley House. Mr. Pfeifer contacted the Clerk's Office. This matter was Discussed and Consensus Given. 17. 2017-0052 Discussion item regarding Class “A” Liquor License criteria and the current moratorium. Discussion ensued regarding developing a criteria for approval of Combination Class A Liquor Licenses, whether a percent of square footage sales floor should be designated for alcohol sales, and the current moratorium. The Committee directed Assistant City Attorney Nicholas Cerwin to research and develop a criteria plan based on this discussion for the License & Health Committee meeting on February 1, 2017.
