CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Barczak called the meeting to order. B. ROLL CALL Present 4- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Vitale, Ald. Lajsic, and Ald. Reinke C. NEW AND PREVIOUS MATTERS 5. O-2018-0020 An Ordinance to Create Section 7.19 of the West Allis Revised Municipal Code Regulating the Application and Sale of Coal Tar Sealant Products. Sponsors: Ald. Barczak Attachments: O-2018-0020 signed A motion was made by Ald. Lajsic, seconded by Ald. Vitale, that this matter was Recommended for Passage. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Vitale, Ald. Lajsic, and Ald. Reinke No: 0 26. R-2018-0342 Resolution to approve bid of Butters-Fetting Co., Inc. to furnish and install the air conditioning and heating unit in the West Allis Library at 7421 West National Avenue in the City of West Allis in the amount of $453,874.00. Sponsors: Public Works Committee Attachments: 2018-3 Bid Results 2018-3 Fiscal Note R-2018-0342 signed This matter was Recommended For Adoption on a Block Vote. 27. R-2018-0351 Resolution accepting work of Butters-Fetting Co., Inc. for the furnishing and installation of the air conditioning and heating unit in the Council Chambers and Art Gallery at the West Allis City Hall located at 7525 West Greenfield Avenue in the City of West Allis and authorizing and directing settlement of said contract in accordance with contract terms for final payment of 2017 Project No. 20 in the amount of $3,239.12 of the $70,150.00 total project cost. Passed The Block Vote A motion was made by Ald. Lajsic, seconded by Ald. Vitale, to approve all the actions on the preceding items on a Block Vote. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 4- Ald. Barczak, Ald. Vitale, Ald. Lajsic, and Ald. Reinke No: 0 28. 2018-0413 Request for the West Allis - West Milwaukee (WAWM) Healthy Lifestyles Coalition to close the area designated in the attached map commencing at 6:00 p.m., Monday, July 16, 2018; and requesting the use of signs and barricades and additional police presence in the Liberty Heights Park neighborhood for the Mayor’s Activity Challenge - Move 30 Minutes a Day for 30 Days “kick-off” one (1) mile walk.
