WEST GROVE BOROUGH COUNCIL Agenda September 4, 2024 – 7:30PM CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE OATH OF OFFICE - Matthew Glass MINUTES  August 7, 2024 FINANCIAL REPORTS BILLS PERSONS SCHEDULED TO APPEAR:  David Payne, Director of the Avon Grove Library PUBLIC COMMENTS: FINANCE ISSUES:  The Borough has not received official notification to date, however a press release from Governor Shapiro indicates that West Grove Borough has been awarded a PennDOT Multimodal Grant in the amount of $513,530 to improve pedestrian safety on Prospect Avenue. ZONING OFFICER’S MONTHLY REPORT  30 Prospect Zoning Hearing completed on August 22, 2024 PUBLIC WORKS  Letter of Recommendation from Hanover Engineering for the award of the Prospect Avenue Sidewalk Extension Project.  Water leaks on Welcome and Summit Avenue’s PUBLIC SAFETY OLD BUSINESS  Zoning Revision Project Update: o The Task Force meeting took place on 8/5 with a follow up meeting scheduled for 3 weeks out. The project is getting closer to completion, at which time it will be presented in a public meeting and to Borough Council.  Park Master Planning Project Update: o Chester County Municipal Park & Trail Improvement Grant secured $100,000 o Notification received that our project has reached the appropriations committee through Representative Houlahan’s office. We are one of 15 projects. o Other grant funding sources are being sought after.  Comprehensive Plan Update o Official Map and Historic Commission/Resource Mapping  Wildcats Park Usage Agreement has been passed to them for their review. NEW BUSINESS MAYORS COMMENTS: UPCOMING EVENTS  Public Safety Commission Meeting – September 12, 2024, at 7:00pm at the New Garden Township Building.  Election Day – November 5, 2024, poles open at 7AM and close at 8PM ADJOURNMENT
