Inland Wetlands Watercourse Agency

The West Haven Inland Wetlands Agency held a Special Meeting on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in the Harriet North Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 355 Main Street, West Haven, CT at 6:30 P.M. PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Saldibar, Perrone, Beecher, Gilbane, Commissioner of Planning and Development Riccio and ZEO Conniff. Absent was Commissioner Carr. PLEDGE OF ALLEGANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING - Commissioner Saldibar made a motion to approve the minutes of November 17, 2015, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed. Continued: 1. 5 Spring Street: West Haven CT. (MBL 055-0106-0-0002) The Commission of Inland Wetlands would like to review the Cease and Desist order that was issued by The City of West Haven Planning and Zoning Department. A cease and desist order was issued. City engineering staff has not shown up nor is Corporation Counsel present tonight. Commissioner Saldibar made a motion to send this issue to court, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed. Corporation Counsel Amendola called into the meeting and he will accept that it should go to court next month if this hasn’t been acted on by the next meeting. He also would like to have a meeting with the chairperson and one other member of the commission to discuss strategy. MISCELLANEOUS – Maine and Platt Avenue regarding the bridge. The engineering firm stated they have not been paid and this project was supposed to start. 5 Cordone Dr – an application will be on the agenda for next month. This was a complaint regarding a fence.
