Inland Wetlands Watercourse Agency

The West Haven Inland Wetlands Agency will hold a regular Meeting on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the Harriet North Room, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 355 Main Street, West Haven, CT at 6:30 P.M. PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Beecher, Saldibar, Gilbane and ZEO Conniff. Absent was Commissioners Perrone and Carr. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Saldibar made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of July 19, 2016, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed unanimously. New: 135 Hill Top Lane: The applicant is asking to put a 12’ x 18’ two story additions with storage below an 18’ x 22’ pressure treated deck. The project is within the regulated inland wetland buffer. Applicant /owner: William and Rosa Taulty; File # 042-16 Tom McKiernan, contractor, is representing the applicant in this matter. Commissioner Kane visited the site and said there seem to be irregularities. It is pretty straight forward. Proof of mailings were submitted to staff. ZEO Conniff stated all setbacks have been met. Commissioner Saldibar made a motion to approve File #042-16, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed unanimously. MISCELLANEOUS: Spring St. – is in progress with corporation counsel. The agreement has not been signed as of yet. Lee St. – Zoning Dept. is working on this. It still needs to be corrected. ADJOURNMENT: 6:55 p.m. Commissioner Saldibar made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Gilbane and passed.
