PRESENT: Commissioners Kane, Beecher, Perrone and ZEO Conniff Absent were Commissioners Gilbane and Carr. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Beecher made a motion to approve the meeting minutes of July 17, 2018, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed. 5 Industry Drive: The Applicant request to erect a 15,200 Sf. building for office and storage space to relocate All-Brite Electric. The Current building is located at the abutting property known as 4 Industry Drive. A field inspection was done by Resource Consultants who has flagged the wetlands. No proposed activities will be conducted within the 100’ Regulated area. Owner: Borrelli Realty LLC / Applicant: 4 Industry Drive Ext.; File # 005-18 IW Attorney Vincent Falcone stated the owner is relocating All-Brite Electric across the street to this address. There will be 4,000 sq. ft. of office space and 11,200 sq. ft. of storage. It is 300 ft. away from the wetland that is shown on the map. Jim Preti, Criscuolo Engineering, described the site which is entirely in stone except for the wetland section as shown as the map. The building will be on the street side and parking to the left. The rear is being used as trailer storage which was previously approved. Commissioner Perrone made a motion to accept File #005-18W seconded by Commissioner Beecher and passed. 5 Cordone Circle: The Applicant request to install a 21’ ft. round above ground pool in the upper inland review area. The applicant will use a cartridge filter. Owner /Applicant Casey Lennon; File # 006-18 IW Applicant stated the pool will be close to the house. Applicant was informed not to drain the pool into wetland. Commissioner Beecher made a motion to approve File #006-18 IW, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed. STAFF REPORTS: ZEO Conniff stated a notice was received from the Town of Orange that a distribution facility on 161 Marshal Hill Rd. is being proposed which abuts a West Haven property. IA Club – ZEO Conniff stated this may become a court case. DEEP – has released Fresh Meadow Rd. 149 Front Ave – engineer has visited the site and it is moving forward. Still awaiting survey and site plan. ADJOURNMENT: 6:50 p.m. Commissioner Beecher made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Commissioner Perrone and passed.
